What is the difference between 'SEDIMENTARY and METAMORPHIC ROCKS'

sedimentary rocks are formed from the material derived from previous exisisting rocks and from organic sources by the process of denudation. Metamorphic rocks are those rocks that have crystallized in solid state as a result of changes in temperature etc to such extent that diagnostic features of original rocks are modified.
