what is the difference between selective permeable membrane and semi permeable membrane?

selective permeable membrane are those membrane through which only selected things can move out or in AND semi permeable membrane are those through which all the material can not move in or out.REMEMBER that in selective permeable membrane ,the membrane is permeable to selected materials BUT in semi permeable the materials are not selected.It's just not permeable to all materials.

selectively permeable membrane allows only a particular particles/things in to the cells. The latter allows only a part of the particles( not all the things) whatever it may be... hope it helps...
