The main difference between self-awareness and self-esteem is that awareness means knowing yourself better but self-esteem is an overall evaluation of yourself.
Self-awareness means knowing about yourself or being aware of yourself which includes feelings and emotions, behavior and thoughts, etc. but when we talk about self -esteem it means knowing about a subjective sense of personal worth and value, for example, if someone has low self-esteem it means that they will have less confidence.
