SELF FLUXING

The action or process of an ore or sinter releasing its impurities in the form of liquid slag without the addition of a separate flux, such as limestone to facilitate this.

ELECTROLYTIC REFINERY

Refining of a metal (such as copper) by electrolysis, the crude metal used as the anode going into solution and the pure metal being deposited upon the cathode.- called also electrolytic refining.
