what is the difference between self motivation and self control ?

Self motivation: This is to motivate yourself to do some work. Suppose you want to do your Math home work and you are in fear that you should not be able to solve the Problem. Then you should motivate yourself that you should be able to solve the math this is self motivation.

Self control: This is that you control yourself to prevent to do something. Suppose you are in diet and there are some foods in front of you . You want to eat but you can't eat because you are in diet now you are controlling your self not to eat. So first you need self motivation then you can do self control.

Summery:

Perhaps we can see self motivation is motivating myself to complete a task and self control is to control myself to stay away doing some work
