Answer:

Sex linked traits are those which are governed by genes situated over sex chromosomes such as X and Y.

Though now a days it is used for X linked genes only, whereas autosomal traits are regulated by genes situated over autosomes.

Our genome contains two type of chromosomes autosomes and sex chromosomes.

sex chromosomes are those which are responsible for determination of sex of foetus.
