Fog : It is a thick layer in atmosphere
Smog : a thick fog like layer In atmosphere that is especially in winters. It is a combination of smoke and fog and smog contains oxides of nitrogen and hydrocarbons. It causes breathing difficulties.

smog is the mixture of smoke and fog.
fog is occured due to low temperature which is called as high concentration of water molecules in air.
Effects of smog÷
1.smog causes disorders in respiratory organs.
2.A large amount of hazardous materials contained by smog as smog is mixed in it.
So it makes problems to inhale oxygen as well as we are unable to vehicles on roads.
