soil erosion means the top or fertile layer of the soil is carried away by wind or water, making it infertile whereas soil conservation means presents soil erosion

soil erosion: this refers to the wearing away of the top soil layer by the action of the agents of erosion like wind ,running water, etc.
soil conservation: this refers to the process by which soil erosion can be prevented. Do example planting more trees helps in soil conservation.
