What is the difference between spam kick and thrust kick in karate

In kick we just swing our leg in air which may move in any direction and whereas thrust kick strikes hardly in air and it much painful and strike it than kick.

All Spam kick is a kick in which the any kick we hit is taken back as full back as per the rules of the kick. Any kick may be Mayageri , Mawashigeri , kensatsogeri, gayaku etc...

The thrust kick is a kick in which the thrust if given by using the whole body by leaving the leg or by jumping . Example is thrust side kick ,
thrust mayageri.
