Speed is the Magnitude of Velocity, i.e. the rate of Change of Distance over Time. Average Speed of an object in an interval of time is the distance traveled by the object divided by the duration of the interval.

Hello here is your answer.
Speed is the Magnitude of Velocity, ie. the rate of Change of Distance over Time. Average Speed of an object in aninterval of time is the distance travelled by the object divided by the duration of the interval. The Speed you are talking about is the InstantaneousSpeed which is not as Same asAverage Speed.

I hope that this will help you.
