SPEED-1) speed is the distance travelled in the given time .
2) it has no direction.
3) it is scalar quantity.
4) speed can neither be zero nor negative.
5)speed= distance/time.

VELOCITY- 1)velocity is measured as displacement in given time.
2) it has unique direction.
3) it is vector quantity.
4) it can be positive , negative or zero.
5) velocity= displacement/time .
