Notochord is present in the developmental stages of a fetus. It will develop into the Central nervous system at the end of the embryonic period including the spinal cord.

Spinal cord is present in an adult human that is in the vertebral column of a person. It originates from the brain and goes all the way down to our just above our pelvic region.
