What is the difference between standard, wing and keel petals?

In vexillary aestivation or arrangement, 5 petals on floral bud consist of 3 different sizes

  1. the outermost and largest petal is standard
  2. wings -2,of modrad size and overlaped by standard
  3. smallest two petals are called keel present interior to wings , fused, and are in direct contact with the reprodoctive structure
