What is the difference between static friction and kinetic friction and sliding friction and fluid friction?

Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces,fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other. ... Dry friction is subdivided into static friction ("stiction")between non-moving surfaces, and kinetic friction between moving surfaces.

static friction-
1.the force of friction requeried to start the object
2.strong interloking
3.maximum force present between two surface.
Sliding or kinetic friction-
1.force required ti retain the sluding motion at the same speed
2.interlocking nog very storng like static friction
3. less friction than staic friction
