What is the difference between subtracting a negative integer from 0 and subtracting a negative integer with 0

when you subtract a negative no from 0 you get that result as negative but when you subtract 0 from a negative number nothing changes as anything - 0 = that number as a reasult
eg:- -12-0=-12
