What is the difference between Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4) and Sulfurous Acid (H2SO3)?

And also, why does the periodic table split after 57?

Here is ur answer

The difference between Sulfuric acid and Sulfurous acid is that they have different oxidation number of sulfur and sulfuric acid is comparatively more acidic than sulfurous acid.

The lanthanides and actinides have different properties compared to other elements. Hence, they are located at the bottom of the peridic table.
