A difference between the moon & Earth and the sun is that the sun doesn't oribt anything it is just in the middle of all the planets , but the moon and the Earth does. The moon orbits the Earth and the Earth orbits the sun . ... A similarity is that the Earth ,moon ,and the sun are all involved in lunar and solar eclipses.

Both sun and moon are considered as celestial bodies. While sun plays as a central figure in the galaxy around which the planets revolve, moon revolve around the Earth. Sun is a source of both heat and light while Moon isn't.

We can easily reach the moon and land on its surface but we can't do the same in the case of sun due to its intensely high temperature and powerful solar flares. Sun is relatively so much more bigger in size when compared to the moon.
