The difference between a solution and a suspension is in the particle sizes involved. A solution is a mixture of ions or molecules (very, very small).Solutions are transparent, meaning that you can see through them. Asuspension has bigger particle sizes and so it may look cloudy or murky

SOLUTION :-

1. it's a homogeneous mixture.

2. particles of a true solution can't be seen by naked eyes. they are very very small.

3. particles of solution don't allow light to pass through them and they don't scatter.

4. particles of a solution can't be filtered through filter paper. they can be separated only by special techniques like evaporation etc.

5. since it has very small particles, it's transparent and we can see through them.

SUSPENSION :-

1. it's a heterogeneous mixture.

2. particles of a suspension can be seen by naked eyes. they are big according to the particles of a solution.

3. particles of solution allow light to pass through them and they scatter when light passes through them.

4. particles of a solution can be filtered through filter paper.

5. since it has big particles, it's translucent sometimes opaque and we can't see clearly through them.
