DLC means the count of individual WBC cells.thus helps in knowing which specific cell type is increased in blood
while
TLC : as the name suggest its total leukocyte count,i.e the total number of WBC[white blood cells\leukocyte]

Leukocyte is known as white blood cells…its not a single type of cell,but it relates to all types of WBC Cells.

WBC has :-

-Neutrophils.

-Lymphocytes.

-Monocytes.

-Basophils.

Thus, DLC means the count of individual WBC cells.thus helps in knowing which specific cell type is increased in blood.
