What is the difference between terminating and non terminating decimals? With Example.

Terminating means the numbers in quotient will be stopped.and the remainder will be 0.

eg : 300/2


Non terminating means the numbers in quotient will be continued as we divide a long.
and remainder will not be 0.

eg: 20/3
