Terminating numbers:-
Rational numbers in which the denominator completely divides the numerator (i.e remainder is 0) at any point i.e at any extent remainder comes zero are called terminating numbers.Ex numbers that are divisible by factors of only 2 and 5 or both. Ex 3/5,1/16,1/20,5/8,7/32 etc.
Non-terminating recurring:-
Rational numbers in which the denominator never completely divides the numerator(i.e the remainder is never zero) are called but the decimals are repeated at any point are called non-terminating recurring numbers.Ex 5/3,6,27,7/9,8/81,etc.
Non terminating non-recurring:-
All irrational numbers are said to be irrational numbers. In these numbers any sequence of any numbers is never repeated though the number at any point may be repeated. Ex √2,√3 pie √7 etc.
