Answer:

hey mate

event and cause has a simple relation like i can say the conditions or the purposes that eventually lead to event are called causes

for example

let us take the battle of kannauj 1540

the battle was fought between humayun and shershah suri

in which humayun lost the war and sher shah suri got the throne

later shershah suri died and the thrown was in the hands of his successor sikander suri.

so again in 1555 humayun fought against  this suri and got his thrown back

from this you can observe that the events are changing like wars between one person to other person but cause is for the kingdom

so from this we can say Things that directly lead to another event are called 'Causes'.
