The early human beings didn't have a particular language for perfectly communicating with each other. They used to talk with hand gestures , weird sound , different expressions and different gestures. There was not a perfect communication.
But the human beings of developed generation has a particular language so they could perfectly communicate with each other and share their ideas.
Development of language is one of the reason that humans have came so far from in technological advancements.
