Both the organisms produce eggs but the main difference is where the fertilisation occurs. The fertilisation of frog eggs occur in water outside their body whereas the fertilisation of hen's egg is occurs inside the body that is reason why hens have a hard shell on the egg whereas the egg of a frog is soft and like jelly.

Both the organisms produce eggs but there is a main difference in where the fertilisation occurs. Fertilisation of frog is external whereas that of hen is internal. The fertilisation of frog eggs occur in water outside their body . The frog swims and randomly deposits sperms on it. The fertilisation of hen's egg occurs inside the body. By the time the egg comes out the egg will have developed a hard outer coating. The egg of a frog is soft and like jelly.
