AnswEr :-

'He Laughs' ⇒ It is a general expression, meaning that 'he laughs'. It simply means that 'he laughs at some joke'; 'he usually laughs at things' or 'he is jolly, and thus he laughs'. It is considered in Simple present tense.

'He does laugh'  ⇒ It is not a general expression, but a stronger one. It is not simply said while referring to someone as 'he'; it is actually a reply. The speaker is asserting that 'he does laugh'. This sentence is less preferable while speaking in a general conversation.

A small example of clear understanding :-

1st person - I have never seen him laughing. Why is he so serious ?

2nd person - Oh, haven't you ? He does laugh at many things.

'He wrote' ⇒ Similarly, 'He wrote' is a general expression, meaning that something was written by 'him'.

'He did write' ⇒ The speaker is confidently asserting that 'he was the one who had written it and no one else.'

A small example of clear understanding :-

1st person - Has he written the poem ?

2nd person - No, he hasn't.

3rd person - Yes, I know, he has. I can surely say that he did write this poem
