What is the difference between the images formed on a new utensil and an old one? Why
is this difference observed?

the image in the new one will be sharper and the older one will be blurred.
because the surface in new one will be smooth and thus light will reflect better
whereas the surface of older one will be rough thus the image will be blurred

1-A image formed on new utensil will be shiny whereas image formed on old utensil will be not shiny or dull you can say

2-Old utensil does not have enough power to reflect properly whereas new utensil have power to reflect properly
