what is the difference between the locomotion and movements

Movement is change in postion of an object or say your hand with respect to your body i.e. change in postion of an object with respect toit's axis.

Whereas locomition is change in postiin ofan object aith respectto it's surrounding environment. Eg. You are travelling from one place to another, it is locomotion

You are moving your hand up down, it is movement of your hand.

locomotion is the movement of an organism from one place to another place is called locomotion....

for example walking running flying etc....

we can definitely movement as just an act of moving.....
