In molecule of an element all the atoms are same but in molecules of compound all atoms are not same. For example- oxygen has only 2 oxygen atoms but in water there 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen. CaCO3 signifies one molecule of calcium carbonate. It has 1 atom of calcium, 1 atom of carbon and 3 atoms of oxygen
