Explanation:

I think

when (A±∆A)-(B ±∆B) is expanded

then you can see ± will remain same for ∆A

but for ±∆B it becomes. -(±B)

now as plus is above and minus is below but after multiplying with minus sign obviously plus becomes negative and negative becomes plus, thus sign interchange itself
