What is the difference between the weight and mass?

weight is the force that earth applies on a body.

mass is the actual value .

weight is mass x gravity

weight depends on gravity unlike mass . mass is constant everywhere in universe.

ans.the amount of matter preent in an object is called mass

this is the min differnece between them

1.weight differes from place to place
