Every department is headed by a minister who is
also an MLA. Sometimes an MLA may be entrusted with more than one department. The minister officially approves any work of purchase, development, framing rules and regulations, or project proposals prepared by the department. The department is responsible for the projections and compiling of financial and physical works done whereas MLAs or ministers coordinate between the Assembly and the departments.
