- They are used for making toys, containers.
- Examples are PVC, Polythene
Thermosetting :-
- Plastics once moulded cannot be bent or deformed are known as thermosetting plastics.
- They are used for making switches, handles of utensils,
- Examples are Bakelite, Melamine
