pressure can be exerted in any angle.
all thrust are pressure but all pressure are not thrust.

Difference between thrust and presure is that thrust is just a perpendicular force being applied.
It does not depend on area.
Whereas pressure is the thrust per area. It value increases or decreases with increase or decrease in area respectively.
