Nastic Movement:
- It is neither towards nor away from stimulus.
- This movement is not directional.
- This movement is of short period.
- Once the stimulus is given movement can be seen.
- Growth doesn't takes place.
- example, Dandelion flower, moon flower.
Tropic movement:
- It is either towards or away from the stimulus.
- This movement is directional.
- This movement take long time.
- Continuous/source is needed.
- Growth take place.
- example, Phototropism, Geotropism, etc.
