Explanation:

hey mate

tropism is found virtually in all plants but nastic movements are mostly found in speacailaised organs and plants .

both tropic and nastic movement are influenced by environment.

in tropism there is directional movement of plant in response to the surrounding like gravity or light but the direction of nastic movement is independent .

in tropism stimulus controls the orientation of the growth , in nastic movements stimulus triggers response .

in tropism the effect is more or less permanent but in nastic movements the effect is temporary and reversible .

tropic movement is a response towards an stimulus in plants in which direction of response is based on direction of stimulus. ie tropic movement is directional movement. it is also a growth movement

ex- bending of plant towards light, movement of roots towards water.

nastic movement is also response towards an stimulus, but direction of response is not determined by stimulus ie nastic movement is non directional movement.it may not be a growth movement.

ex- closing of leaves of plant mimosica pudica on being touched , opening and closing of flowers in day and night.etc..

hope this helps,

not copied from anywhere like others .

THANKS!
