when the rate of change of velocity is uniform then it's uniform acceleration but when the rate of change of velocity is not uniform then it's called non uniform acceleration.

Explanation:

*uniform acceleration- A body has uniform acceleration if it travels in a straight line and it's velocity incereased by equal amounts in equal interval of time.

*Non uniform acceleration - If body velocity increase by unequal amounts in equal interval of time.
