What is the difference between virtual images produced by concave, plane and convex mirrors? What does the negative sign in the value of magnification produced by a mirror indicate about an image?

virtual image formed by concave mirror is magnified, that produced by plane mirror is of the same size and that by a convex mirror is diminished.

A negative magnification indicates that the image is inverted.

If it is positive then the mirror being used is concave mirror.
