PREFACE
A preface is a place allocated in the book where the author briefly explains, the reason behind the writing of the book.
In some cases, authors may also include the 'Acknowledgements' section in the Preface where he/she may thank the certain people who inspired him/her to write the particular book in question.
INTRODUCTION
An Introduction to a book talks about the contents of the book. What is the book about? etc.
MAJOR POINTS WHILE WRITING THESE
You should include all the points necessary and be frank with these. You should try to inject the personality of the book in these sections, as much as possible.
