PHLOEM:

<> Phloem transports food materials...

<> Phloem works from up to downward direction...


The similarity is.... Both r belongs to VASCULAR TISSUE!!

Your answer is....

1. Xylem carries water whereas pholem carries food.
2. Xylem contains - xylem fibre, xylem parenchyma, trecheids and vessels.
Phloem contains - Phloem fibres, phloem parenchyma, sieve tubes and companion cells..
