Heya friend,

Here is the answer:

XYLEM:
1) Consits of 4 types. (Xylem vessels, Xylem tracheids, Xylem parenchyma and Xylem fibre)

2) Xylem transports water to the various parts of the plants.

3) Xylem is made up of three types of dead cells. (Xylem vessels, Xylem tracheids and Xylem fibre)

4) One type of living cell (Xylem parenchyma)

5) The conducting cells have lignin thickening in the wall.

6) Undergoes Transpiration(Loss of water in a form of watter vapour)

7) Xylem provides mechanical strength.

PHOLEM:

1) Consits of 4 types (Sieve tube, Pholem parenchyma, Pholem fibre/sclerenchyma and companion cell)

2) Pholem transports food.

3) Phloem contains only one type of dead cells (phloem fibres).

4) It contains 3 type of living cells (Sieve tube, Pholem parenchyma and companion cell)

5) Wall thickenings are absent in the conducting channels.

6) Undergoes Translocation (The food which is transported from one part of the plant body to the required body is called translocation)

7) No mechanical function

Hope my answer helps you :)
