Subtracting 2y = 6x and y = 3x, we get y = 3x
Thus, the difference between both the equations is y = 3x, which means the second equation is two times the first one. There is no other difference.
We can write the second equation as 2 × y = 2 × (3x)
From here 2 will be cancelled from both sides and we will get the first equation, i.e. y = 3x
If we draw the graphs of these equations, they will be same.
