Hey!!!!

1. In inspiration oxygen is taken in while in expiration carbon dioxide is given out.

2. In inspiration diaphragm relaxes while in expiration diaphragm contracts.

3. In inspiration ribcage expands while in expiration ribcage contracts.

That's a biology answer from a commerce student.

Hope this helps

The Main difference between inspiration and expiration The process of breathing (respiration) is divided into two distinct phases, inspiration (inhalation) and expiration (exhalation). ... During expiration, the diaphragm relaxes, and the volume of the thoracic cavity decreases, while the pressure within it increases. As a result, the lungs contract and air is forced out.
