Nucleus is a membrane enclosed organelle, that contains most the cell's genetic material, organised as multiple long linear DNA molecules in complex with a large variety of proteins, such as histones,to form Chromosomes. The genes within these Chromosomes are the cell's genome. The function of the nucleus is to maintain the integrity of these genes and to control the activities of the cells by regulating Gene expression. The nucleolus is a non-member bound structure found within the nucleus in which ribosomal RNA is transcribed and is composed of protein and ribonucleic acids. The main function of the nucleolus is to transcribe rRNA and combine it with proteins to form incomplete ribosomes.
