What is the difference in answering that a plant is bisexual or dioecious ? Since both means the same, why some questions answer either bisexual or dioecious and not both?

It means, there is a male fower and a female flower on the same plant. Opposite of Monoecious is dioecius which have male flower on other plant and the female flower on other plant. While on the other hand , a bisexual plant has only one type of flower which consist of both male an a female parts.

Dioecious is a condition in which male and female reproductive organs are found on two different plants. For example Carica papaya.
