What is the difference in how sugar and food taste when tour nose is blocked?

Food doesnt not taste taste different but will taste quite low because they require both taste and smell sensations to be recognised.But the receptors of sweetness is present only in tongue and need not sense smell,it can be tasted even when the nose is blocked or closed.

When are nose is blocked sugar tastes less sweet as the taste buds on our Tounge are less active and glucose absorption is less the same goes with food molecules How ever food molecules may taste bitter depending upon their size
