what is the difference in the atomic models of the Thomson and Rutherford ​

The difference among these two models are...

Thomson modal say that the red part of watermelon is +ve charge (means scattered in the atom)and the seeds of watermelon are -ve charge. They present in equal amt. so total charge on aton is zero.

but

Rutherford model of atom say that the total +ve charge on an atom is concentrated at its centre in the nucleus

and e- are revolving around nucleus.
