What is the difference sodium sulphate and sodium chloride?

1. when barium chloride is added to the sodium sulphate solution ,a precipitate is formed which is insoluble in all mineral acid.2. when sodium chloride solution is treated with silver nitrate solution , a white precipitation is formed which is soluble in excess ammonium chloride solution.
