There are some stores in these types of malls that have copies that come accross as the real deal, they really look the part and quality looks bang on but they are copies that have been taken in from China, you have locally produced copies also but usually they are not of the same standard but then again some locally produced copy stock can also look like the real deal.
The proper Malls like Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Chidlom, Siam Center usually don't allow these kind of goods to be sold in there Malls.
When thes sales are on like over Chinese New Year then these malls have great bargins and if you do your shopping in the same day and get the Tax Free paper work for a refund at the airport then its even better but this is only good if you do you shopping on one day and have your passport with you so that department store and get the paper work in order for customes at the airport.
