In other words, it is the growth and response to a light stimulus. ... The growth of stems of plants towards light is an example of positive phototropism. Chemotropism is growth of organisms (or parts of organism) such as bacteria and plants, navigated by chemical stimulus from outside of the organism.

when plant part show growth towards the chemical called chemotropism. for eg- the growth of pollen tube.

when plant part grow towards sunlight then it is called phototropism.

The stem always grow towards sunlight so it shows phototropism.
