Hip-hop was developed in the Bronx in New York City during the late 1970s, whereas has originated in India, Pakistan, etc.
Hip-hop is sung in one language i.e English whereas desi hip-hop is sung in languages such as Punjabi, Hindi, Bengali, English and also a fusion of languages.
